More Information On NYC Photo Op: Obama Prepares To Deflect Criticism

A couple days have past and as more information surfaces regarding the Air Force One/NYC photo stunt you can tell Obama is preparing to deflect criticism of the stunt away from himself.

First, there is this new information:

Click here: Memo: Feds Knew Panic Likely

I particularly like this part:

The flyover -- apparently ordered by the White House Office of Military Affairs so it would have souvenir photos of Air Force One with the Statue of Liberty in the background -- had President Obama seeing red. He ordered a probe and apologized.

"It was a mistake. It will never happen again," President Obama said.

Another story tells the cost of the flight:

Click here: Obama Orders Probe, Cost of Flight Was $328,835

So let me see if I understand this. We are to believe that Obama was highly aware of on the ground operations related to the shooting of three pirates by Navy snipers. But that he was unaware of orders regarding a $328,835 flight by Air Force One and two F-16s at low altitude over lower Manhattan?

This guy must really think we are stupid. No way can you tell me he was in the dark on this one. Not a chance. The Obama Doctrine: Do whatever you want, and deny it later.

This was really poorly handled. Instead of courage under pressure, we're given deny it until it goes away but is anyone really surprised?
